The well-known and well-respected reporter has claimed that the Toffees have asked the Villans about bringing the former Liverpool striker on loan to Goodison Park for the rest of the season.
Villa have reportedly turned down Everton’s bid for Ings on a loan deal. While the Villans are willing to offload the 30-year-old England international striker, they want it to be on a permanent basis. A number of other clubs are also reported to be interested in Ings.

Ings has been on the books of Villa since the summer of 2021 when he joined from Southampton. The 30-year-old striker has made eight starts and eight substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Villans so far this season, scoring five goals in the process.
